Alice Beament is a digital strategist at SUMO, a Perth based creative digital agency renowned for its strategic approach to the digital space.
Originally from the UK, Alice obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and English at the University of Nottingham. She then spent the first years of her career working client side for a large IT & telecommunications company in the UK, where she also obtained a Diploma in Marketing. Her role was incredibly diverse, involving digital, print, event management and PR. After four years Alice moved to the ‘dark side’ of agency work and moved to Marker, a full service digital marketing agency, based in Auckland, New Zealand. As Account Manager, Alice managed some high profile clients, including McDonalds and Pepsico, as well as a pool of other clients from varying industries. Moving back to the UK in 2008, Alice joined 20:20 (the largest digital agency in the UK) as a Senior Account Manager working on a variety of accounts including Danone (FMCG) and First Great Western (a major transport group in the UK). Her digital experience has involved developing strategies and implementing digital initiatives to incorporate new websites, microsites, online media, social media and mobile.
In her role, Alice will be actively working with SUMO’s extensive client list and the business development team to create new ways of thinking and to expand client offerings in this ever changing, ever growing channel. By combining her years of knowledge with SUMO’s 25 full-time staff, the agency is set to continue changing the way businesses think and connect through digital.
